The Barn Interiors was founded by Lucy Rinylo, whose passion for interior design and home transformation grew from years of working on a variety of renovation and building projects. Recognising her talent for creating thoughtfully designed spaces, she pursued formal training at the National Design Academy, qualifying as an Interior Designer before launching The Barn Interiors.

Lucy’s signature style blends traditional charm with contemporary elegance, seamlessly mixing old and new materials to create timeless interiors. She has a particular love for character properties, where original features take centre stage while being complemented by modern, welcoming design elements.

Her work has been recognised in Cotswold Life, i-Build Magazine, and Build It Magazine, with industry experts praising her ability to balance classic aesthetics with contemporary functionality. One feature described her design approach as:
